DEFINITION: Airborne instrument that is installed directly into the Digital Flight Inspection System (DFIS). It collects GOS satellite information to calculate its positional fix while it is performing the flight checks. It is only used by our Flight check crew and is an integral part of the current DFIS system.

DÉFINITION : Instrument de bord qui est installé directement dans le Système numérique d’inspection en vol (DFIS). Il recueille les renseignements de satellite GOS pour calculer son repère de position pendant qu’il effectue les vérifications en vol. Utilisé seulement par notre personnel chargé des vérifications en vol, il fait partie intégrante du système DFIS actuel.
